About Deborah Grisham:
It takes someone with experience in all aspects of the music business to understand how to make decisions that will direct the careers of aspiring and established musicians and artists. Deb Grisham has that kind of varied experience. Beginning with her own career as a singer in a local band in her home state of Maine, she eventually moved to Nashville to pursue her dream, but later found out she got more of a thrill from working behind the scenes with other artists.
Deb, along with her husband Doyle Grisham (long-time steel guitar player for Jimmy Buffet’s Coral Reefer Band, and session player for artists such as Randy Travis, Dan Seals, Jim Glaser, Dr. Hook and many others), took over management duties for Fireside Recording Studio, which was owned by Dolly Parton and Porter Wagoner. Her experience there expanded to include engineering sessions and working with the publishing arm of the company.
Deb currently represents the catalogs for successful writers such as Jim Glaser and Jimmy Payne who wrote Gary Puckett & The Union Gap’s platinum-selling song, “Woman, Woman.” She also represents Lisa Palas whose credits include songs recorded by Alabama, Reba McEntire, Randy Travis, Kris Kristofferson, Chris LeDoux, Lee Greenwood, The Whites, Conway Twitty, The Oak Ridge Boys and others. Her most recent recording, “That’s What Angels Do,” is the award winning inspirational hit on Anita Hall’s debut album, “Send Love.”
Not only does Deb represent songs, she represents the artists! Before officially founding Deb Grisham Entertainment, she was the agent for Coral Reefer band members, Nadirah Shakoor, Doyle Grisham, Tina Gullickson and Jim Mayer aka, Uncle Jim. Deb either books and/or manages all of the artists on the roster at Deb Grisham Entertainment.
